Your account

We hold the email addresses of people who use SponsorDesk, to sign them in and send reminders. Sign-in uses a single cookie that keeps you signed in. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies in the app.

Records you add

Organisations add details of their sponsored workers, such as names, job titles, visa dates and salaries. For these records the organisation is the controller and Vertova Ltd is its processor. We use them only to provide the service, store them with Cloudflare, and never sell or share them.

Payments

Stripe processes payments. We don't see or store card details.

Register data

The public sponsor pages show the Home Office register of licensed sponsors, which lists organisations, not individuals. It is published under the Open Government Licence.

Emails to organisations on the register

We sometimes email organisations that hold a sponsor licence to tell them about SponsorDesk. We only use general business addresses, such as info@ or hr@, that the organisation publishes on its own website, and only for limited companies and LLPs. We keep the organisation name, the address, the web page where we found it and a record of what we sent. We rely on our legitimate interest in telling sponsors about a tool relevant to their duties. Every email has a link to stop further emails, and we keep a note of addresses that have opted out so they are never contacted again. We delete outreach records 12 months after our last contact unless the organisation becomes a customer.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data by emailing privacy@vertova.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
